What Others are Saying

Kelli Ferguson, Procurement Officer
“I enjoy NM EDGE classes because they are usually small, in comfortable settings, and with peers and professionals who are always helpful and open to discussion of the relevance of classes to our profession. I have gained general knowledge of the procurement process along with the ability to look "outside the box" sometimes. I find the other agencies all have the same general struggles and we can learn and give/take great advice to and from each other! I believe my employer has benefited from my participation in the NM EDGE classes, as I have been able to refer back to specific handouts or details that were discussed for different scenarios that have occurred in my job. I know how to access resources available to me!"

 Josephine Velasquez, Chief Procurement Officer
“With NM EDGE, I value networking opportunities with like-minded professionals in my field. These opportunities enable the exchange of insights and the benefit of mutual advice. The information acquired has significantly contributed to my professional and organizational advancements. Our organization has secured an employee demonstrating enhanced ethical and transparent work practices.”

Wendy Armijo, Financial Specialist II
“The classes I have taken through the NM EDGE program have been immensely beneficial to my professional development. The education I have received has not only enhanced my skills but also provided significant value to my employer. San Miguel County has gained a dedicated employee who, thanks to the knowledge acquired through this program, has been able to assume various roles, train other employees, and maintain a long-term commitment to the organization.”
