“I am a firm believer that learning should be a lifelong objective for every-one regardless of age or title. How fortunate are we to have the continuing learning opportunities available through the NM EDGE program. This program has not only provided invaluable resources for honing my skills as a County Treasurer but has also provided resources that have made me a better public servant and a better leader.”

Frances Martinez, Delinquent Tax Specialist
“The county was gracious enough to offer NM EDGE classes to me and they have given me the tools, skills, and strategies needed to enhance my professional career. The classes have taught me to come out of my shell as an introvert and to take a leadership role where I can express new ideas and processes. The classes have also given me an understanding of how government works and how our laws play into everyday life as a public servant.”

Patrick Cohn, Treasurer
“What I liked about the NM EDGE classes was learning about how government works and how I can apply my knowledge to my job. I have gained from NM EDGE the knowledge to perform my job duties to the fullest potential. My employer has gained from me participating with NM EDGE the sharing my knowledge where needed and counting on me to perform my job to the fullest.”
