NM Certified Extension Professional Class Requirements Checklist

New Mexico EDGE is proud to offer the NM EDGE Certified Extension Professional certification. The purpose of this certification is to provide consistent training for CES agents and specialists and to create networking opportunities between agents, specialists, and county officials and employees. Nine specialized extension classes were developed by a curriculum committee comprised of NMSU Extension Faculty working together to create content to best assist a new agent or specialist in better understanding the roles and responsibilities of their new position. Additional elective classes (developed using curriculum guidelines established by the National Certified Public Manager® Consortium) round out the certification.
