“I sincerely admire the time and energy the staff and instructors of the NM EDGE program put into ensuring student success as it shows how we can all lead by example. In participating in the NM EDGE program, I have gained a strong cohort of mentors and colleagues and the confidence to work along-side them. Santa Fe County, and all other agencies working with the NM EDGE program, benefits directly by building an educated, compassionate, and informed workforce beyond what traditional schooling may teach us.”'

Silke Humpe, Senior County Services Specialist

“This program instills a moral code of conduct that includes accountability, care and respect, honesty, transparency, compassion and respect for the rule of law. I personally apply what I have learned on a daily basis, which includes respecting colleagues, maintaining confidentiality, following company policies, delivering high quality work, meeting deadlines and by having a positive attitude towards tasks and team goals. My company, I believe, benefits from this program because it leads to a better employee performance, job satisfaction, organizational commitment and trust.”
